For Those Who Don't Have Macro Lens.

Yes, that is right. At the time this book was written a true mac ro lens didn't existed. Therefore, it clearly outlines the metho ds for using close-up lens kit, focussing bellows and extension tubes. The mathematical part is well explained. It has two good chapters on the use of artificial lights. However, the chapter focussed on cine methods are of no use because the techniques described there are quite old. Well, I being a still photographer I read the first ten chapters quite carefully. It takes you right from the basics to the most advanced level. The negetive points - Those days, colour photography was expensive and therefore not much of colour photographs are included in the book. But if anybody interested to read the technical basics of macrophotography, one should read this book.
