The Best Advice You Can Get

This book is wonderful!!!! My son has had so much trouble focusing at school. The school psycologist recommended medicating him, but I couldn't do it. I knew there must be some other way, and thanks to this book I've found it. After reading this book, and trying some of the suggested dietary restiction, it turns out he is allergic to wheat. Not only that, I discovered so many things I wasn't aware of about the chemical reations food can have in our body, that I am a lot more careful about what I give my kids.Well written and easy to read. I recommend this book to everyone, it was so helpful to me.

Not just allergies!

More than just a book on allergies, this valuable book will also help anyone of any age who may be sensitive to personal products or household cleaners and may not recognize their sensitivity as an allergy. Most useful and interesting is the section on food sensitivity and how to eliminate allegens from your diet. Ms. Borger's excellent research makes "The Story of Mr. Allergyhead" an indispensible book.

At Long Last

At long last someone has written a book about something other than the dreaded ADHD family of illnessess to explain the behavior of more and more children. Ms. Borger's stand that many, if not most of these children are suffering from allergic reactions makes perfect sense to me. As a society and as a world population we are pumping more and more chemicals into our living space. It should not be a small wonder that our human bodies have difficulties processing these new chemicals and rebel in the only way they know how -- allergic reaction.
Thank you Ms. Borger.

From a teacher's perspective

I particularly enjoyed the book from the child's perspective. Teaching 3rd grade, I can see how this would be very useful to help a child to understand what is going on with himself/herself, in dealing with behavior and allergies.
