The History of Everyday Things in England is a wonderful book for early readers of the Medieval Period. Printed in the early part of the 20th century and reprinted only once in the last 25 years, this volume provides a comprehensive look at all aspects of medieval life in easy to read language. The author describes a view of medieval life that is enchanting and engaging to young readers. This book is an excellent addition to any teacher developing material for Junior and Senior High students. The book provides an introduction to the complexity and richness of medieval society and leaves the reader with a thirst for more.
